Otters are coming to Jamaa, and I wonder, how were they found?

Taive and Peck ventured far, to find something unique to show the Alphas. Taive swam in the ocean and Peck ran along the side. Taive stopped, and turned to Peck. "Peck! What's over there?!" A unidentified animal swam towards them and Peck gasped. "Which animal is that?" Peck stepped forward. "Peck, no! What if the animal is dangerous!" Taive swam towards Peck. "No, I think... I think this animal is an Otter!" Peck whispered and bounced forward. "An Otter?" Taive stopped and murmured. "They can go on land and water, maybe it needs our help!" Peck ran forward and the animal went onto land. Peck reached out her paw, and the animal touched it. "Hi there, what is wrong?" Peck whispered and the animal opened it's mouth, "My family does not have enough food to survive here, we need help to find a new place to call home." Peck's eyes opened and she smiled, "I am from Jamaa, and we would be glad to make Jamaa, a place you can call home!" The Otter smiled and yipped, "Thank you! All Otters!" A group of Otters swam to the main Otter's side. Taive swam forward, and greeted the Otters. The Otters smiled and Peck and Taive started to go back to Jamaa, with the Otters by their side.
