Scamming: Part 1

Hi Jammers! On Animal Jam, one of the BIGGEST problems is scamming. So I thought that I should do a blog post with 3 major tips on how to avoid getting scammed!
Tip #1: No sending, just trading
If you want to give someone something for something in return, ONLY  trade. Never send someone something, expecting something back (unless you are sending someone something without wanting something back) because they may not send you something back (I said 'something' a lot in those last 2 sentences)! They might be saying that they want to try on your item, and when their finished, they'll give it back. Even if they say they promise, pinky promise, all the levels of promises in the world of promises, they could be lying to you, no matter what they say. You can't trust someone you only met online!

(This is only an example of scamming. No one in this picture actually wanted to scam anyone)

Tip #2: Only except trades you want to
If someone tells you to accept their trade really fast, don't do it, unless you actually want the item they are offering for your item. They could be saying that if you accept the trade really fast, they'll send you something or give you codes or something like that. Unless you like the trade they are offering, they, once again, could be lying to you! I know, there are a lot of cruel people in this world!
    Tip #3: Avoid scammers
If you want to go trading in Jamaa Township and see someone trying to scam someone, LEAVE. Even if you want to tell that person that he/she is getting scammed, leave. Chances are, if there's one scammer, there could be more. Or maybe un-experienced Jammers may think it's ok to scam, but it's not. You don't want to be surrounded by bad people, because you could be scammed next! You might even be influenced by them and become a scammer to!
I hope these tips help you to not get scammed, and don't be a scammer yourself! Scamming: Part 2 will be coming soon!
